How to deal with issues logging into the Nexkey app

Issue: I have a new phone number with no access to the previous number.

If you recently received a new phone number, you won't be able to pass the multi-factor authentication step in order to log into the Nexkey app

Steps to resolve

  1. Contact Nexkey support (email: support@nexkey.com | Phone: 888.413.7093)
  2. Give them your old phone number or email that is linked to your Nexkey account so they can look you up in the database
  3. Nexkey support will assist you to get back into your account.

Issue: I can no longer access my email and I need to reset my password. Please help!

If you need to reset your Nexkey password, but no longer have access to the email on file, please follow the steps below.

Steps to resolve

  1. Contact Nexkey support (email: support@nexkey.com | Phone: 888.413.7093)
  2. Give them your phone number or email that is linked to your Nexkey account so they can look you up in the database
  3. Nexkey support will provide you with a temporary password to get you back into your account.
  4. Once you login, you'll need to update your account with your new email. Nexkey support unfortunately cannot make this change for you.

Issue: I've tried resetting my password multiple times, but the Nexkey app keeps saying "Incorrect password". What do I do?

Steps to resolve

  1. Contact Nexkey support (Email: support@nexkey.com | Phone: 888.413.7093)
  2. Give them your phone number or email that is linked to your Nexkey account so they can look you up in the database
  3. Nexkey support will provide you with a temporary password to get you back into your account.
  4. Once you login, you'll need to update your account with a new password. Nexkey support unfortunately cannot make this change for you.

Issue: I'm not receiving the text message with my 6-digit multi-factor authentication code when I try to log in. What should I do?

Steps to resolve

  1. Double-check your phone's connection to Wi-Fi or mobile data to make sure you can receive texts.
  2. Have someone else send you a text message to make sure your phone is able to receive texts from any other source
  3. Contact Nexkey support (email: support@nexkey.com | Phone: 888.413.7093)
  4. Give them your phone number or email that is linked to your Nexkey account so they can look you up in the database
  5. Nexkey support will assist you to get back into your account.
