Understanding Errors in the Nexkey App
Error 200 when Remotely Unlocking a Door(Nexkey Controller Only)
Details: When attempting to remotely unlock a Nexkey Controller, you receive Error 200 or Error 210.
Resolution: Should this error occur on your end, this means that the Nexkey Controller is not connected to Wi-Fi. Follow the steps in our
YouTube tutorial to resolve this.
Billing Info Required
Should you receive this error message in the Nexkey app when attempting to unlock your door, then this means that your Nexkey subscription hasn't been paid, so your devices are currently deactivated. To resolve this, please contact your on-site admin and have them call the Nexkey dealer associated to your account.
Cannot Unlock - Key Invalid
This message will appear whenever you're trying to unlock a door that you either no longer have access to, or can't unlock due to lack of permissions. To resolve this, make sure your mobile device is connected to a Wi-Fi / cellular network so the Nexkey device can authenticate your access prior to unlocking the door. You may need to contact your on-site admin to ensure you still have access to the door you're trying to open.
Scheduling Conflicts
Using the Business Hours feature(Nexkey Controller Only), if you create multiple schedules that overlap with each other, you will receive the following error message. To resolve this, be sure to double check your schedules for any overlapping days/times.
Can't connect to the Nexkey Lock
This particular error has come up whenever there's an issue connecting to the Nexkey Controller. There's likely a wiring issue causing the Controller's board to not function properly, so please contact your Nexkey provider and have them review their wiring setup.
