Managing Notification Rules in the Nexkey App

Notification Rules in the Nexkey App allow you to receive alerts when specific actions occur--like a door unlocking or an admin modifying key settings. This guide walks you through creating and managing these rules.

  2. Tap Notifications, then tap Rules at the top-right corner

  6. Once you've selected your Group or Lock(s), tap Done to confirm your changes.
  7. Under the "Inform Me About" section, you will find multiple options that you can toggle ON or OFF.
    1. Unlocks & Locks: Anytime a door has been unlocked or locked by a Nexkey user, regardless of their role.
    2. Access Management: Any key shares or revokes performed by an Admin or Owner
    3. Key Administration: Any changes to a Nexkey device like Name, Business hours, Blackouts, Relock time, etc...
